THE PROCESS;

Choose your favourite photo(s) of your beloved pet. Your photos need to be clear with close detail, especially of your pet's eyes

Decide where you will hang your completed portrait. Remember to consider your light source for viewing whilst avoiding direct sunlight onto your artwork

Check your chosen position in regard to the size of your future painting. What size will fit well in the space?

Email your photo(s) and requirements to Sharon using the CONTACT page of this web site

Sharon will then reply to your email confirming your requirements and provide you with a quote

Note: A standard portrait includes the animals head and partial shoulder / chest. How much of the shoulder / chest is included depends on the pet, composition and canvas size / shape

INFORMATION REGARDING SIZE AND PRICE;

Portraits on paper - from NZ$150 for an A4 size sketch/illustration in ink and/or paint, unframed
​
Portraits on canvas - from NZ$150 for a 6" x 6" canvas, includes D-rings and string for hanging
​The size of your portrait on canvas or paper can be fairly well customised to suit as every portrait is quoted individually according to the assessment of time required to complete it. This assessment takes into account; desired size, subject, medium, and whether it's to be on paper or canvas

Along with flexibility as to size, different shapes are available and at times a square canvas suits the subject better than a rectangular canvas. If this is the case, Sharon will advise
Variations to the 'standard' portrait are also available by request, for example, a full portrait including the pet's body
PAYMENT INFORMATION;
Once all details are confirmed and quotes are accepted, a deposit of 50% of the finished work is required before painting begins. The final 50% plus any freight / shipping costs is required on completion of the work. Once the final funds are received by Sharon your completed portrait will be forwarded to your supplied address, or alternatively if you're local to Auckland, you can make arrangements with Sharon to pick up your portrait
